  • Patent number: 4120855
Abstract: A method and composition for producing a bactericidal active monochlorotriazine dye, by reacting active dichlorotriazine dye with a bactericidal compound containing hydroxyl or amino groups. The reaction is run in an aqueous, organic, or water-organic medium at 20.degree.-40.degree. C. The monochlorotriazine dye thus formed is active and possesses bactericidal properties. On dyeing fibres, it endows them with high bactericidal properties retained after repeated wet treatments.

  • Patent number: 4093665
Abstract: The present invention relates to aryl perfluoro-alkyl ethers that are compounds of the general formula: ##STR1## where R.sub.F .dbd. CF.sub.3 or CF.sub.2 OCF.sub.3, X.dbd. Br;R.sub.f .dbd. cf.sub.2 ocf.sub.3, x .dbd. no.sub.2.and also to a method of producing them. The method according to the present invention consists in fluorinating aryl esters of perfluorocarboxylic acids of the general formula ##STR2## where R.sub.F and X are as defined above, with sulphur tetrafluoride in autoclaves at a temperature of 20.degree.-100.degree. C in hydrogen fluoride solution with the concentration of the starting esters in hydrogen fluoride being 20-50%. Aryl perfluoroalkyl ethers can be used as intermediate products for producing medicinal preparations, heat-, cold-, benzene, and oil-resistant sealing compounds, as well as compounds and polymers applied in various fields of engineering. The above-described method allows obtaining the desired products under mild conditions with a high yield (80% of theory).
