  • Patent number: 5457347
Abstract: An electrical control system for turning ON the headlights and taillights of a motor vehicle that has a first relay operable to turn the headlights and taillights ON when the ignition switch it turned ON. The first relay has a solenoid connected to the ignition switch and a pair of switches connected to the battery, headlights and taillights. A wiper control switch is connected to a second relay which turns the headlights and taillights ON when the windshield wipers are operating in the event of failure of the first relay or electrical circuit thereto.

  • Patent number: 5205634
Abstract: A vehicle windshield wiper and headlight control that only allows operation of the windshield wipers when the headlights are ON has a control switch assembly connected to a battery, wiper motor, headlights and parking lights. The control switch assembly has separate headlight and wiper switches that are simultaneously closed when a wiper actuator is turned ON so that the wiper motor only operates at least at low speed when the headlights are ON.

  • Patent number: 5130905
Abstract: A vehicle windshield wiper and headlight control that only allows operation of the windshield wipers when the headlights are ON has a wiper control switch and a headlight switch connected to a battery, wiper motor, and headlights. The headlight switch has a pair of switches that are concurrently closed with a movable actuator so that the wiper motor only operates when the headlights are ON. An indicator light is associated with the headlight switch to advise the vehicle operator that the headlights must be ON before the windshield wipers can be operated. An alternate control has a relay operable to complete the wiper circuit or headlight circuit so that the headlights are ON when the windshield wipers are operated.

  • Patent number: 3990489
Abstract: An oil filler cap having a funnel-shaped body with a tubular neck adapted to be attached to the oil cap receiving structure of an internal combustion engine. A cover releasably mounted on top of the body carries a PVC valve connectable with a hose to the air intake manifold of the engine. A plurality of upwardly directed cutting blades attached to the bottom of the body are used to cut holes in the bottom of an oil can whereby oil can drain from the oil can into the engine.
