Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable generation of a multi-dimensional tag metric in a cloud resource management environment. More specifically, a tagging namespace is provided for managing a resource in the cloud resource management environment. This namespace comprises at least two dimensions and a plurality of positions. A set of tags associated with the resource are received into the tagging namespace. A match of each tag of the set of tags to a position within the namespace into which that tag was received is verified and an alert is triggered in the case verification fails. Alternatively, in the case verification is successful, the tag-containing namespace is validated as a multi-dimensional tag metric.

The method includes extracting original data storage attributes from metadata comprised by data for storage within a hardware storage system. Additional data storage attributes associated with current storage requirements of the data are retrieved and merged with the original data storage attributes resulting in a group of combined data storage attributes. An attribute matrix categorizing attribute types each attribute is generated. A digital tag defining the attribute matrix is generated and attached to the metadata. Data storage tier definitions and associated tier attributes are received and associated with the digital tag. Resulting specified tiers of the hardware storage system a defined for storage of specified portions of the data and each portion of data is stored within an associated tier.

Abstract: Techniques are described for linked blockchains that allow computing devices to access information from an acceptance blockchain about acceptance reports stored in an enterprise delivery blockchain that are also linked to a product blockchain that stores information of the products of the acceptance reports. An acceptance report is indicative of operability of a product in a service provided by a service provider. A processor is configured to access the block in the enterprise delivery blockchain, retrieve the acceptance report from the block in the enterprise delivery blockchain, determine an identifier, identified in the block in the enterprise delivery blockchain, to a block in an acceptance blockchain, access the block in the acceptance blockchain via the determined identifier, retrieve from the block in the acceptance blockchain contextual information of the acceptance report, and output the acceptance report and contextual information of the acceptance report.

Further, the user behavior pattern is bound to resource consumption, and a user and resource type is linked by a weighted value. Load balancing strategies are employed according to the weighted value of the user other than using connection count.

Abstract: A system, method and program product for creating files in a cloud environment having a storage cluster. As system is provided having a command processor that parses an inputted file creation command and determines whether a location tag is specified for a file being created and stored in the storage cluster; and a location limitation processor that, in response to the location tag being specified: retrieves a creation limitation profile associated with the location tag; causes the file to be created with a location limitation in the storage cluster based on the creation limitation profile; and stores an identifier for the creation limitation profile in an extended inode structure.
