    Abstract: A catheter for guiding a body fluid of a subject includes an elongated body, an adjusting mechanism, and a valve mechanism. Moreover, the elongated body further includes a first portion, a second portion and a flexible portion between the first and the second portions. The second portion includes a passageway for the body liquid. The valve mechanism closes to the inlet of the passageway. Furthermore, the flexible portion expands when the adjusting mechanism is in a first state to prevent the catheter from being removed from the subject, and the flexible portion retracts when the adjusting mechanism alters to a second state to allow the catheter to be removed from or inserted into the subject. Hence, the body fluid is directed to enter the passageway via the inlet and exit via the outlet when the adjusting mechanism is not in the second state.

    Abstract: A device for positioning a needle tip to a desired location by signaling pressure change is provided. The device includes a barrel, a piston, a biasing element, and a plunger. The barrel defines a reservoir, and it includes a distal end connectable to a puncturing apparatus. The plunger is slidably engaged with the piston, and both are movable within the reservoir. The biasing element connects the plunger and the piston, and its change in length corresponds to the relative position of the plunger and piston. In operation, the piston is at a first position relative to the plunger when the biasing element is at a first length. The piston later moves to a second relative position in response to the biasing element's change of the length resulting from a pressure change inside the reservoir when the puncturing apparatus reaches a location of a mass. The position's change of the piston is visually detectable.

    Abstract: A method to fast print an electrical circuit on a surface of a ceramic heat-dissipation substrate and simultaneously adhere electronic devices, comprising the following steps: a. Using the method of printing, spraying, transfer-printing, or the similar to form a solderable metal adhesive layer on a surface of a heat-dissipation substrate; b. Forming a necessary electrical circuit on the surface of the heat-dissipation substrate via burning and solidifying the solderable metal adhesive layer; c. Spreading solder paste and positioning related Surface Mount Device (SMD) on the electrical circuit; d. Placing the heat-dissipation substrate into a furnace having liquidized metal inside, and partially diving the heat-dissipation substrate into the liquidized metal to heat and melt the solder paste via the thermal energy conducted from the liquidized metal, therefore the SMD is adhered on the electrical circuit; and e. Cooling down the heat-dissipation substrate via placing it into a plurality of cooling-chambers.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a light core structure and a manufacturing process thereof Firstly, an insulation material that is temperature resistant and has high thermal conductivity is provided to serve as a base material and the base material is used to form a thermal conductive body that has a cylindrical shape, a circular tubular shape, a spherical pillar shape, or a conical pillar shape. Printing techniques are then applied to print solderable conductive metal wiring on a surface of the thermal conductive body and heat is applied to cure the wiring to form a curved surface circuit. Afterwards, SMD bonding technique is applied, together with a fixture, to mount SMD LED elements to the curved surface of the thermal conductive body through soldering. The thermal conductive body is then coupled to an adaptor element through threading or other suitable machining or being used in combination with other thermally conductive bar.

    Abstract: A sole device includes a bottom layer, a top layer, a check valve and a deformable material. The top layer is made of extendable substance and is attached to a top surface of the bottom layer with its edge being sealed with the bottom layer. A chamber is defined between the two sealed layers. The check valve is mounted in the bottom layer and has a valve inlet. The valve inlet communicates with the chamber to permit filling the deformable material into the chamber through the valve inlet. The deformable material is a viscous fluid and will be cured to an elastic solid by cross-linking after a curing period. The elastic solid cured by the deformable material fits the wearer's foot to provide good comfort and support.

    Abstract: An LED lamp allows the emitted LED light to be directed substantially in a desired direction. The LED lamp comprises an LED and a transparent housing for accommodating the LED. The transparent housing has a substantially semi-convex top formed with at least a total reflection plane. When the LED is placed at a specific position, part of the emitted LED light that strikes on the total reflection plane will be totally reflected from the total reflection plane. As a result, if the LED lamp is placed horizontally, as for example when mounted on an upright installed commercial sign, the emitted LED light rays will be virtually all directed at descending angles that allow people passing by the commercial sign to see the sign more clearly.
