Abstract: A carotid pulse measurement device provided for measuring carotid pulse of a user's neck includes a band, an artery-pressing air cell, an inflating/deflating device, and a pressure detection unit. The band functions to surround the user's neck. The air cell is arranged in the band and is fluidly connected to the inflating/deflating device for selectively inflating/deflating the air cell. The pressure detection unit detects variation of pressure inside the air cell. To use the measurement device, the band is put around the user's neck with the air cell positioned exactly corresponding to the carotid artery of the neck so that the pressure detection device detects the pressure variation and generates a digital pulse signal, which is employed to calculate arteriosclerosis index of the user for evaluation the degree of arteriosclerosis of the user.

Abstract: A website for marketing real estate or products relating to real estate includes personal webspaces for users. Assigned user roles determine which capabilities they may configure into their webspaces. Users may communicate with each other and with merchants, e.g., by sharing webspaces or by dialogs. Merchants may send product information only certain users in response to users' expressed or inferred desires. Collected product and user data may be used to calculate propensities of individual users, marketability of individual products, or market trends.

Abstract: Disclosed is a concentric magnetic configuration for a speaker system which can produce a full range of frequency sounds from a single source magnet. The magnetic configuration of the present invention includes a high frequency pole plate and one or more middle yoke iron plate placed directly on a cylindrical permanent magnet wherein at least one magnetic flux controlling slot is formed beneath the high frequency pole plate and the middle yoke plate. The multiple air gaps defined by the pole plate and middle yoke iron produce a full range of frequency magnetic fields which can drive the high, medium, and low frequency voice coils.
