  • Patent number: 11935717
Abstract: An arrangement for electrically connecting a circuit breaker to a laminated busbar in a switch gear cabinet in which the circuit breaker has at least one terminal to be contacted by a connecting bar and in which the laminated busbar includes at least one conducting layer for conducting electric current which is covered by adjoining insulating layers attached thereto, the arrangement including: a first cylindrical connecting element and a second cylindrical connecting element which are arranged at a distance to each other at the conducting layer and project away from the conducting layer; an electrically conducting distribution bar which is mounted to free end portions of the first and second cylindrical connecting elements; and a terminal member which is mounted to the distribution bar at a center between the first and second cylindrical connecting elements. The terminal member is to be contacted by the connecting bar.

  • Patent number: 11843226
Abstract: A coupling element for electrically coupling a lateral connecting portion of a first laminated busbar to a lateral connecting portion of a second laminated busbar, the coupling element having a base body that includes a sandwich of conducting layers of sheet metal and intermediate insulating layers arranged in between the conducting layers for electrically insulating the conducting layers from each other. Each of the conducting layers includes a first layer section that is associated to the lateral connecting portion of the first busbar and a second layer section that is associated to the connecting portion of the second busbar. The first and second layer sections are electrically insulated from each other by an insulating element and each of the first layer sections includes a first circuit breaker connecting terminal that is adapted to be electrically connected to an input terminal of a circuit breaker.

  • Publication number: 20220360065
Abstract: An apparatus for electrically insulating a lateral connecting portion of a laminated multi-phase busbar comprises an elongated housing having first second housing sections made of an electrically insulating material that are pivotally connected to each other along a hinge section extending in a longitudinal direction of said housing and an opening arranged opposite to said longitudinal hinge section for receiving a connecting portion of a laminated multi-phase busbar. The first housing section comprises a plurality of first engagement structures and said second housing section comprises a plurality of second complementary engagement structures adapted to engage with said first engagement means when pivoting said first and second housing section towards each other from a first assembling position to a second clamping position.
