Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gateway device and a method therefor, a medium and an application product. The gateway device includes: a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor and stored with instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the gateway device to perform the following operations: during connection of the gateway device to an external network via a mobile network: receiving, from a first networked device, a data packet to be forwarded to the second networked device via the gateway device; determining that the data packet has a data volume greater than a threshold data volume; and intercepting the data packet.

Abstract: A device and method and computer readable medium for resisting downgrade attacks. User equipment includes a memory having instructions stored thereon and a processor configured to execute the instructions stored on the memory to cause the user equipment to perform the following operations: determining a security authentication type when the user equipment is connected to a network device for the first time; and in response to determining that the security authentication type when the user equipment is connected to the network device for the first time is WPA3, applying the only-WPA3 rule; where the only-WPA3 rule only allows the user equipment to use WPA3 to access the network device, and refuses the user equipment to use other security authentication types with lower security than WPA3 to access the network device.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus for establishing a Dual-Stack Lite (DS-lite) tunnel is provided. The apparatus sends a request for an Internet Protocol (IP) address of a Domain Name System (DNS) server and a domain name of an Address Family Transition Router (AFTR) server to a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server using an IP address of the DHCP server, receives the IP address of the DNS server and the domain name of the AFTR server from the DHCP server in response to the request, sends a DNS query including the domain name of the AFTR server to the DNS server using the IP address of the DNS server. In response to the DNS query being successful, the apparatus receives an IP address of the AFTR server from the DNS server, and establishes the DS-lite tunnel between the apparatus and the AFTR server using the IP address of the AFTR server.

Abstract: An electronic device, a method, and a program for automatically selecting a language setting of a user interface of the electronic device are disclosed. The electronic device includes memory, and a processor. Language information is obtained by the electronic device from the client device. The language information may include a language field value from the client device. The language field value may relate to a web browser or an operating system of the client device. The language information may be part of an HTTP GET request. A configuration file stored in the memory is modified so as to automatically select the language setting of the user interface of the electronic device based on the language information from the client device.

Abstract: A wireless master device to remotely perform network speed tests on a wireless client device that is not in the possession of the user. A user interface (UI) is provided that displays a list of client devices that may be selected to be the wireless master device and a list of client devices that may be selected to perform the speed test. A start instruction is wirelessly sent to start the speed test on the selected client device. Network speed test results of the client device are received by the wireless master device and presented in the UI. The UI presents options for selecting a type of speed test to perform. The UI includes an area where messages and the test results are presented.
