Each one of the sidelink grant processes is associated with an identification and can be associated with one sidelink grant. The transmitting UE acquires at least two sidelink grants and associates each of the acquired sidelink grants with one sidelink grant process. For each sidelink grant, the transmitting UE allocates radio resources according to the respective sidelink grant to perform a direct communication transmission of sidelink control information and of data over the direct sidelink connection. The transmitting UE performs a direct communication transmission per acquired sidelink grant within the same transmission control period.
