Abstract: A roundel structure for a five-compressing-chamber diaphragm pump includes a cylindrical or inverted frustoconical eccentric roundel in an eccentric roundel mount. The cylindrical or inverted frustoconical eccentric roundel includes an annular positioning groove or indentation, a vertical or inverted frustoconical flank and a sloped top ring extending from the annular positioning groove or indentation to the flank. The sloped top ring eliminates the oblique high frequency pull and squeezing phenomena that occurs in a conventional tubular eccentric roundel arrangement.

Abstract: The hidden node problem can be avoided by scheduling stations in different sectors to perform transmissions during different time periods. Sectorized scheduling can be communicated to stations through transmission of beamformed beacon signals at the beginning of respective time periods. For instance, a first beamformed beacon signal may be transmitted to stations in a first sector at the beginning of a first time period, while a second beamformed beacon signal may be transmitted to stations in a second sector at the beginning of a second time period.

Abstract: A compressing diaphragm pump with multiple effects includes an eccentric roundel mount with three cylindrical eccentric roundels, a pump head body with three operating holes, and a diaphragm membrane with three annular positioning protrusions. A basic curved groove or other positioning structure is circumferentially disposed around each operating hole while a basic curved protrusion or other mating positioning structure is provided in the diaphragm membrane for suitably coupling with the corresponding groove or positioning structure in the pump head body upon assembly, resulting in a shortened length of moment arm from the basic curved protrusions or other positioning structures and an annular positioning protrusion, and a reduction in vibration-caused noise and resonant shaking in comparison with a conventional compressing diaphragm pump.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for identifying transitory WiFi users and providing a differential treatment of such users in terms of delaying associating steps between user stations (STAs) and an access point (AP). A transitory user refers to a user or user device that connects to a WiFi AP but does not run applications that require association or assigning IP addresses, such as short-term or temporary connected WiFi users that are on the move. In an embodiment, a STA connects to an AP. Upon the STA indicating its transitory behavior to the AP or the AP detecting criteria of transitory behavior of the STA, the STA obtains a delay time value from the AP. The STA then delays sending an association request to the AP, or alternatively, the AP delays handling the association request from the STA in accordance with the delay time value.

The embodiments enable improved performance of initial link setup by stations in a wireless local area network during the association process and mitigate the negative effect of bursty association on existing associated users. In an embodiment, a method in a wirelessly enabled network component for differentiated fast initial link setup in a wireless local area network, includes determining categories of station types for initial link setup; determining initial link setup conditions for each station type, wherein the initial link setup conditions specify a priority of associating for each station type; and broadcasting initial link setup conditions to a plurality of stations, wherein the stations determine whether to associate with the wirelessly enabled network component immediately or after a time duration according to the station types and initial link setup conditions.

A STA can send a single ANQP request message to request information for multiple APs, e.g., two or more neighboring APs. The receiving AP may retrieve discovery information for one or more neighboring APs, and send an AP response message including the retrieved discovery information to the requesting STA. The ANQP request message identify the multiple APs for which discovery information is sought, and may specify which information is being requested for that corresponding AP.
