    Abstract: A semiconductor device has an internal power bus, parallel power connections for connecting the power bus with an external power supply and a test module. The test module includes a sensor for producing first and second differential sensor signals that are functions of voltages at spaced positions in one of the parallel connections produced by current in the parallel connection. The test module includes first and second balanced differential pair comparators that receive first and second reference signals and produce a first comparator signal that is a function of the relative values of the first differential sensor signal and the first reference signal, and a second comparator signal that is a function of the relative values of the second differential sensor signal and the second reference signal. The test module includes an output element that produces an output signal that is a function of the first and second comparator signals.
