  • Patent number: 7699180
Abstract: A layout for packaging a computer rack comprises a transport pallet (2) and a computer rack; the computer rack being associable with casters extending vertically by a first distance relatively to a lower face of the rack. The computer rack is made integral with the pallet by two anchoring means distributed on the underside of the rack on either side of a vertical median plane (P1); the pallet includes two side modules and an intermediate supporting means separable from the remainder of the pallet and allowing the side modules to be connected. The side modules are removably attached to the anchoring means, so as to ensure that the computer rack is maintained in a horizontal position, and that the pallet is spaced away from the underside of the rack by a second distance (H2) smaller than said first distance.

  • Patent number: 7692929
Abstract: A connection arrangement for a mainboard having at least one memory card connected to a processor and two series of FBD memory modules connected to respective FBD channels in the memory card by means of FBD connectors using a daisy-chain arrangement. Each channel of the memory card is connected to a linking module to another card the linking module receives two separate FBD channels and includes a FBD type connector with two series of electrical contact pins respectively connected to two paired channels of the memory card. The FBD connector is mounted on the back of the memory card so as to be associated with a connection interface providing the connection to a mainboard. The mainboard is also equipped with a connector of the FBD type designed for inter-card connection.

  • Patent number: 7477525
Abstract: A system for maintaining an assembly of three aligned parts (1, 2, 3) in position, wherein a latching device (4) receives a joining member (6) integral with a rear part (1) of the assembly. The latching device (4) can slide on the joining member and is mounted inside a front part (3) and joined by springs (5) to the front part. The system includes means for moving the locking device, which engages with a locking element of the joining member (6) when the three parts (1, 2, 3) are joined, so as to move the device (4) rearward into a position (B) wherein the springs (5) exert a forward return force on the locking device. Retaining means inside the device (4) allow locking of the device in the second position and clamping of an intermediate part (2) between the front part (3) and the rear part (1).

  • Patent number: 7251143
Abstract: Device for locking and unlocking at least one interface card plugged into a socket of a receiving system (2) linked to a data processing system. The device (1) comprises a box (3) mounted to the receiving system (2) and receiving at least one sliding locking/unlocking element (4a-4n) for locking/unlocking interface cards. Each of elements (4a-4n) is disposed opposite a socket in a position that blocks the access to or removal of an interface card. Each element (4a-4n) comprising an element for controlling the power supply (63) of the card, a visual element for indicating the operation and the recognition of the card, and a detecting element for detecting the intent to unlock the card. The device (1) includes a communication element that makes it possible to transmit signals between the data processing system and the device.
