The applicator comprises a coating container (4) wherein a strip unwinds in use, the container having a rear wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a top wall and two side walls, one of which forms a removable side cover for accessing the inside of the container. According to the invention, the lower wall comprises an opening (14) provided with a removable plug (15) for accessing the inside of the container, the opening being directed towards the upper wall of the container.

The free end of the rear wall of the chamber and the first free end of the lower wall of the chamber comprise a cylinder with a cross section greater than a thickness of the wall to which each cylinder is attached, each cylinder being covered by a removable protective sleeve with an interior cross section that complements the cylinder that the sleeve covers, each protective sleeve having a longitudinal opening delimited by two immobilization edges for immobilization against the wall bearing the cylinder that the sleeve covers.

Abstract: A pole is provided for a coating knife provided with a profiled handgrip that is easy, practical, rapid and safe to use. The pole includes a handle and a first fixing part for fixing to the handgrip of the coating knife and having a contact surface of complementary shape to the profile of the handgrip of the coating knife. The pole also includes a distal part that is near the blade of the coating knife in the position of use. A proximal part is provided arranged opposite the distal part. The first fixing part further includes at least two fixing lugs mounted in a pivoting manner on the proximal part of the first fixing part and conformed to be swung over the distal part of the first fixing part.
