  • Patent number: 9092971
Abstract: A method for controlling a group of wirelessly controlled appliances comprising at least one appliance in a home automation network comprising a master controller, characterized in that it comprises: a reception step in which the master controller receives a wireless command intended for an appliance of the group, then a connection step in which the master controller connects the appliance to mains power, if the appliance was previously disconnected from the mains power, then a disconnection step in which the appliance is automatically disconnected from mains power.

  • Patent number: 7639155
Abstract: A transmitter is adapted to transmit a command, toward one or more receivers. Each receiver is adapted to receive said command and identify said transmitter, which as transmitted it. Furthermore, each receiver is adapted to supply a signal addressed to an installer, for example, a visual signal, by actuating an operator connected to the receiver. The method for matching a transmitter and a receiver includes assigning a subset or a rank to each receiver; then the receivers supply a signal, depending on their subset or their rank, for example, in response to a rank modifying command. When only the receiver to be matched supplies a signal, the installer emits a command from the transmitter. The receiver, which has just supplied the signal, receives the command and is matched to the transmitter, which has transmitted it. the matching is carried out without any action on the receivers, simply by means of commands transmitted from the transmitter.

  • Patent number: 7034899
Abstract: A control unit (10) superimposes command signals on AC power passing on a power line or network (40). A command unit (20) controls and powers an electrical load (50) such as a motor M. A command processor (26) receives radio frequency control signals at a first input (24) from an antenna (12) and a receiver/demodulator (22) and receives command signals from the power line at a second input (25) connected with a pulse shaping circuit (23). In a first, normal operating mode, the command processor controls the electrical load in accordance with signals received at the radio frequency input. In a second, special mode initiated power line command signals, the command processor at least temporarily blocks the execution of commands received at the radio frequency input.

  • Patent number: 6324089
Abstract: An assembly comprising at least one device remotely controlled by at least one transmitter (ESA, ESB) possessing an identity number capable of transmitting a signal consisting of a frame containing the identity number (A, B) and a command and a receiver (R1, R2) which are associated with the remotely controlled device (VR1, VR2) and capable of extracting the identity number from the signal received and of storing it. At least one transmitter of the assembly is a transmitter of simple type, that is to say whose signal frame contains an identifier signifying that this transmitter may control only a single receiver and the program contained in the processor of at least one receiver contains a routine for testing and identifying the type of transmitter preventing the recording of additional transmitter identity numbers in the memory if the identity number identified is that of a transmitter of simple type. A transmitter can then control only a single receiver.
