  • Publication number: 20230104083
Abstract: A Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems, C-ITS. A single DENM, i.e. a warning message announcing a detected event such as an accident/collision or a risk of collision or a pre-crash situation, conveys information about multiple objects involved in the detected situation, in particular about the critical objects involved in the collision. The originating ITS station, ITS-S, quickly builds the DENM because containers describing the objects it perceives are already built in a so-called Local Dynamic Map or Environment Model. On the other side, the receiving ITS-S involved in the detected event obtains more information from the single DENM, compared to known technics (CAMs or CPMs). It can then perform a quicker analysis of the situation and then decide earlier to activate or not anti-collision or pre-crash functions.

  • Patent number: 9686516
Abstract: The present invention relates to improving configuration of wireless communication paths between devices in a video projection system comprising multiple wireless video projectors. When an initial radio communication setup is required between a managing node, e.g. a node comprising a master projector, and a node comprising a slave projector, for example following the powering up of the video projection system, the slave node receives setup information by radio communication means according to a sweeping sequence and transmits information by projecting sub-images. Sub-images advantageously comprise information relative to settings of the master node allowing reception in the corresponding slave node of a radio signal transmitted by the master node.

  • Patent number: 9420225
Abstract: A method of transmitting a video frame over a plurality of communication channels involves selecting a number of communication channels available between the transmitting and the receiving devices; partitioning spatially correlated pixels of the video frame into a number of different partitions equal to the number of selected communication channels; and transmitting the different partitions, where each partition is transmitted on a distinct communication channel among the selected communication channels. Such a method is suitable for use in a communication system, especially a wireless communication system, in which data of a channel can be lost or corrupted. The method can maximize diversity in the transport of the video frame pixels and improve robustness.

  • Patent number: 8838720
Abstract: A method is proposed for managing a distribution of bandwidth in a communications network by means of a slave node of the network, said network comprising a set of nodes. The slave node is such that it performs steps for: determining a coarse representation and a detailed representation of the distribution of the bandwidth in said network, as a function of a piece or pieces of information relative to conditions of transmission in said network and/or relative to applications needs of transmission; receiving a coarse reference representation of the distribution of bandwidth in said network, coming from a master node of said network; comparing said determined coarse representation and said reference coarse representation; should said coarse representations be identical, applying said determined detailed representation; if not, applying said coarse reference representation.
