    Abstract: An electromagnetic heater for hookah includes a shell and an electromagnetic heating body, the shell includes a heat-insulating base plate, and the electromagnetic heating body includes an excitation coil and a drive circuit, the excitation coil is in a shape of a sheet and formed by spiraling a wire outward from a center, and the excitation coil is configured to face the heat-insulating base plate and send out a high-frequency AC signal by which an eddy current effect is produced on an electromagnetic induction element to the heat-insulating base plate, under a control of the drive circuit. The heater applying to the hookah can increase the heating efficiency, the safety and the reliability.

    Abstract: A method for detecting the number of puffs of an electronic cigarette, includes sampling a real-time temperature of a heating unit, and determining a temperature difference; integrating the temperature difference in time to obtain an integral value I; calculating a first limit H according to the integral value I; and judging whether the real-time integral value I is beyond the first limit value H, if yes, determining that one puff of smoking happens. The method calculates a limit value that is a real-time value and varied with the change trend and change amplitude of the temperature difference. When the environment or the usage habit changes, the corresponding first limit can still be calculated according to the integral value of the current temperature difference to accurately determine the smoking behavior, thereby effectively improving the detection accuracy of the number of puffs of smoking.

The power drive unit is electrically connected to a power source and the heating sheet respectively, the control unit is electrically connected to the power drive unit and the real-time resistance detection unit respectively, and the analog-to-digital conversion unit is configured to convert an analog signal output by the real-time resistance detection unit into a digital signal that is transmitted to the control unit. The real-time resistance detection unit is configured to detect a real-time resistance of the heating sheet, and the control unit is configured to adjust an output power of the power drive unit according to the real-time resistance of the heating sheet. The controller realizes precise temperature control and convenient operation.
