  • Patent number: 11743147
Abstract: A post incident analysis system and method includes a system management module coupled to a communications link and digital data storage containing a database of multiple survey questions, each question associated with an application criteria statement and auto populate instructions. The module conducts post incident analysis responsive to a network incident. After the incident receives a given status, the module generates a post incident survey. Survey questions are identified by applying the application criteria statement associated with each question. The module pre-completes selected ones of the identified survey questions by executing the auto populate instructions associated with the selected survey question to identify and retrieve answers to the question from predefined data sources specified in the auto populate instructions. The post incident survey includes, at minimum, survey questions for which the pre-completion was not successful. The survey is transmitted to the participants via the link.

  • Patent number: 11170024
Abstract: A computer-driven system manages databases of flexible storage hierarchy. Computer servers include machine-readable storage containing at least one database, the database comprising multiple data records represented by multiple nodes. Each node has a node type and represents records of a corresponding record type. The nodes are embodied by machine-readable data stored in one or more tables. Multiple client-originated direct links are embodied by data stored in the one or more tables, where each one of the direct links directly connecting a different pair of the nodes. Multiple system-originated calculated links are embodied by data stored in the one or more tables. Each calculated link acts in observance with a rules framework to connect pairs of the nodes that would otherwise be connected only indirectly through one or more intermediate nodes and direct links between said intermediate nodes.

  • Patent number: 11093617
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically grouping vulnerabilities into vulnerability groups are provided. Vulnerabilities are received in the vulnerability response system and are automatically grouped into one or more vulnerability groups based upon grouping fields defined in a vulnerability group rule.

  • Patent number: 10938850
Abstract: An apparatus and associated method are provided for reducing a security risk in a networked computer system architecture. The method comprises receiving at a security computer external vulnerability data from an external source regarding vulnerabilities associated with an attack vector for configuration item (CI) data related to a (CI) device, of the networked computer system. The security computer accesses a configuration management database (CMDB) and the CI data related to the physical device is read. Trust zone data associated with the CI device is determined utilizing the CMDB, and the security computer performs a vulnerability calculation for the CI device utilizing the external vulnerability data and associated trust zone data. This is also done for a second CI device. The vulnerability calculations for both are compared and this comparison serves as a basis for prioritizing an action to be taken on the CI device or associated other network components.

  • Patent number: 10817810
Abstract: A system and method efficiently computes travel times between an origin and destination, minimizing expensive calls to a third party service by first geographically expanding both origin and destination and then searching a cache of previously computed or obtained travel times for any route satisfying the expanded origin and destination. A further embodiment concerns a system and method to prepare an optimized routing sequence to travel to a set of geographical task sites, in satisfaction of applicable conditions for one or more of the task sites. Advantageously, optimized routing may employ the disclosed method of computing travel times between origin and destination.
