Abstract: Indicators of this invention show the existence of a convoy of vehicles and the position of a vehicle in the convoy. Safety on the highway is improved for both the convoy and non-convoy vehicles. The ability of convoy vehicles to maintain position in the convoy is improved by the use of indicators. A variety of indicators may be used, such as flags, magnetic signs, projected images, illuminated signs, window decals, or beacons.
