  • Publication number: 20210369982
Abstract: Delivery devices for administering drugs are disclosed. An example apparatus, includes a body including: a handle in which a syringe assembly is to be disposed; a base having a bottom face to be disposed adjacent a user; and an absorbent material attached to the bottom face, the absorbent material structured to hold a fluid to be released onto the user prior to or during an injection procedure.

Inventors: Margaux Frances Boyaval, Brian Stonecipher, Avon Kuo, James Chan, Lisa Nugent
  • Publication number: 20210260279
Abstract: Drug delivery devices are described that provide hybrid forms with optional gripping functionalities. For example, the devices can include a grip portion on a skin contact surface with a release liner disposed thereon. A user can operate the devices with the release liner disposed on the grip portion or can remove the release liner so that the grip portion is able to aid users in orienting and supporting the device during an injection operation.

  • Publication number: 20210228815
Abstract: Drug delivery devices are described that provide hybrid forms with gripping and stability functionalities, such as a grip portion on a skin contact surface. In some versions, the drug delivery devices can include a cap having a release liner such that removal of the cap exposes the grip portion. In some versions, the drug delivery devices include a retractable needle guard having the grip portion extending therearound.

  • Publication number: 20210128844
Abstract: An example drug delivery device includes a syringe assembly including a needle. The drug delivery device includes a handle carrying the syringe assembly and including a first portion, a second portion, a tapered surface, and a window. The first portion being wider than the second portion. The tapered surface extending from the first portion to the second portion. The needle of the syringe assembly adapted to extend from adjacent the second portion during an injection procedure. The window positioned between the first portion and the second portion and adapted to allow contents of the drug delivery device to be viewed. The drug delivery device includes a base adapted to be positioned adjacent the second portion of the handle during at least the injection procedure. The base being wider than the second portion of the handle and adapted to increase stability of the drug delivery device during the injection procedure.
