Abstract: A timing controller and a polarity control method thereof are provided. The timing controller includes a line buffer and a check circuit. The line buffer temporarily stores a plurality of sub-pixel data of a current sub-pixel row in an image frame so as to transmit the plurality of sub-pixel data of the current sub-pixel row to a source driver. The check circuit generates a polarity command corresponding to the current sub-pixel row for the source driver to set a polarity inversion mode of the current sub-pixel row. The check circuit checks the plurality of sub-pixel data of the current sub-pixel row so as to determine whether to dynamically change the polarity inversion mode of the current sub-pixel row.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to facilitating performing data extraction via efficient extraction rule matching. Generally, an extraction rule can be determined to match an event based on a two-step process. In particular, initially, a determination that a set of fixed substrings associated with the extraction rule matches fixed substrings of the event can be made. Based on fixed substring match, a determination can be made that a set of fields associated with the extraction rule matches fields of the event. In such a case, the extraction rule can be deemed to match the event and used to extract values from the event.

Abstract: A communication device and method for securing data include connecting a processor and at least one storage device via active pins of a switch in the communication device, and setting a secure command for securing data stored in the at least one storage device. The communication device and method further include invoking the secure command to delete the data in the at least one storage device, if text data of a received message matches the secure command, and switching the active pins to the inactive pins so as to disconnect the processor and the at least one storage device, thereby disabling the at least one storage device.
