    Abstract: A protective arm and hand covering for a healthcare patient in a healthcare with healthcare workers which includes warning notices on the external surface thereof to notify a healthcare worker that no healthcare activities are to be conducted with respect to one specific hand and arm of the patient because this patient has a propensity for lymphedema. The hand and arm covering is adapted to completely cover the upper and lower arm area on both sides of the elbow as well as the entire wrist, hand and finger area of the user. The device can include a plurality of markings or indicia on the external surface thereof warning healthcare workers that various activities such as blood pressure, venipuncture and intravenous are not to be performed with respect to that specific arm.
