  • Publication number: 20160343673
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a semiconductor substrate, a plurality of integrated circuit devices on the semiconductor substrate, and a seal ring structure surrounding each one of the integrated circuit devices. The seal ring structure includes a plurality of interlayer dielectric layers and a plurality of hollow through-hole structures disposed within each of the interlayer dielectric layers. Each of the hollow through-hole structure within an interlayer dielectric layer includes a through-hole disposed within one of the interlayer dielectric layers, a diffusion barrier layer formed at the bottom, sidewalls and the top of the through-hole, and a seed layer disposed on the diffusion barrier layer. The diffusion barrier layer and the seed layer cover the top of the through-hole so that the through-hole has a void to form the hollow through-hole structure.

  • Patent number: 9098462
Abstract: A first processing core selects a first memory address of a first memory area based on a last written buffer that identifies a last written memory address. The first memory area is a portion of a shared memory, and the first processing core has sole write access to the first memory area among a plurality of processing cores that use the shared memory. Data is written to the first memory address of the first memory area. After writing the data to the first memory address, the last written buffer is updated to designate the first memory address as the last written memory address of the first memory area. A second processing core of the plurality of processing cores is operable to access the data by accessing the last written buffer and determining, based on the last written buffer, that the data is stored at the first memory address.

  • Publication number: 20140184520
Abstract: An electronic device (106), and methods thereof, for managing displayed content is disclosed herein. A graphic image is provided at a surface of a touch screen. A photographic image is received at a photographic sensor (102) distal from the surface of the touch screen. The photographic image includes a first photographic fragment of at least a part of an object (108) obscuring a portion of the graphic image and a second photographic fragment of a remainder of the graphic image that is unobscured by the at least a part of the object (108). For one embodiment, the first photographic fragment is transmitted to a display screen (110) distinct from the touch screen and is superimposed over a portion of the graphic image provided at the surface of the touch screen. For another embodiment, a graphic fragment corresponding to the second photographic fragment is transmitted to the display screen (110) and superimposed over the photographic image.

  • Publication number: 20130238992
Abstract: In embodiments of content control based on data link context, a portable electronic device (102) detects when communicatively linked to a media rendering device (114) via a data link (122). The portable electronic device (102) can then determine whether the data link (122) was previously utilized to communicatively link the portable electronic device (102) to the media rendering device (114). The portable electronic device (102) can then initiate a media control selection menu (128) for display on the portable electronic device (102) if the data link (122) was not previously utilized. Alternatively, the portable electronic device (102) can initiate a media control interface (126) for display on the portable electronic device (102) if the data link (122) was previously utilized, where the media control interface (126) is implemented for user-selection to control media content (106) that is rendered by the media rendering device (114).
