  • Patent number: 11260377
Abstract: This application consists of a method for the synthesis of a type of FER/MOR composite molecular sieve. That method consisting of mixing FER seed crystals, MOR seed crystals, a silicon source, water and an acid or alkali, thus yielding a reaction mixture; by adjusting the proportions of the seed crystals added, the silicon-aluminium proportion, acidity/alkalinity and other reaction conditions, it is possible to obtain a dual phase composite molecular sieve within which the proportions of the crystal phases may be adjusted. In the synthesis process to which the method of this application relates, there is no need to add any organic template, thus reducing the cost of the reaction, in addition to reducing likely environmental pollution, thus having major potential applications.

  • Patent number: 7145268
Abstract: A method for driving a neutral point clamped three-level inverter is provided. In one exemplary embodiment, DC current is received at a neutral point-clamped three-level inverter. The inverter has a plurality of nodes including first, second and third output nodes. The inverter also has a plurality of switches. Faults are checked for in the inverter and predetermined switches are automatically activated responsive to a detected fault such that three-phase electrical power is provided at the output nodes.

  • Patent number: 7102321
Abstract: A method for driving a neutral point-clamped multi-level voltage source inverter supplying a synchronous motor is provided. A DC current is received at a neutral point-clamped multi-level voltage source inverter. The inverter has first, second, and third output nodes. The inverter also has a plurality of switches. A desired speed of a synchronous motor connected to the inverter by the first second and third nodes is received by the inverter. The synchronous motor has a rotor and the speed of the motor is defined by the rotational rate of the rotor. A position of the rotor is sensed, current flowing to the motor out of at least two of the first, second, and third output nodes is sensed, and predetermined switches are automatically activated by the inverter responsive to the sensed rotor position, the sensed current, and the desired speed.

  • Patent number: 6093866
Abstract: An alkylation catalyst comprises from 50 to 70 wt % of hydrogen type ZSM-SM-11 co-crystaline zeolite containing rare earth element and the rest amount of porous inorganic oxide matrix material. The zeolite has particular chemical composition and X-ray diffraction lines. This catalyst has higher activity, selectivity and stability in alkylation process than that of the prior art. With this catalyst the process for preparing ethyl benzene by alkylation of benzene with ethylene has higher ethylene conversion and ethyl benzene selectivity.

  • Patent number: 5010267
Abstract: A high power density reluctance motor which is adapted to be supplied with unidirectional power from a converter has a multiphase stator with concentrated full pitch windings and multiple poles. The rotor has segments which constitute flux guides which serve to bend the flux produced by current flowing in a coil winding in a slot of the stator around the slot and back toward the periphery of the rotor, providing maximum inductance when a flux guide of the rotor is aligned with each such slot. Minimum inductance occurs when the flux guides are out of alignment with the slot conducting current and aligned with an adjacent slot, with a substantially linear change in inductance occuring with rotor displacment.
