  • Patent number: 4963066
Abstract: A grain hopper assembly to receive grain unloaded from a bottom unloading grain transport vehicle. The assembly comprises a shell having opposite ends. An auger is mounted to the shell and conveys grain toward one end of the shell. A hopper tube has an auger contained therein. An attachment housing is at one end of the shell and connects the hopper tube to the shell so that the hopper tube auger operatively communicates with the auger whereby grain at the one end of the shell is received and conveyed by the hopper tube auger.

  • Patent number: 4021064
Abstract: A hook member for securing and snugging a door of a structure such as a barn is provided with a cam lever which may be manually rotated after the hook member is engaged with a latch bar on the door to move the hook member longitudinally away from the door and thus pull the door snugly against the portion of the structure on which the hook member is mounted. The cam hooks of the invention may be mounted inside a building to snug the rear edge portions of single or double sliding doors against the building wall, or to snug the front edge portion of a single sliding door or of a hinged door against the jamb; and may also be used to snug the forward edges of a pair of double sliding doors together either from the inside or from the outside.

  • Patent number: RE28991
Abstract: A bottom silo unloader for use in discharging moist grain from a sealed silo has a discharge tube set in the silo floor that leads from a casing in the center of the silo below floor level to the outside, and a discharge auger in the casing is driven by drive means adjacent the outer end of the tube. A pair of vertically aligned, right angle gear boxes are driven by the discharge auger and drive a sweep auger. A ring gear on which the upper gear box is mounted is rotated from the drive means to cause the sweep auger to rotate about the vertical axis of the silo and the gear boxes. A torsion arrangement suspends rotation of the ring gear when the sweep auger encounters heavy resistance to its movement around the silo.
