    Abstract: A system for personalizing printed cards or scrapbooks with web-based links comprises a point of sale display of greeting cards or scrapbooks and a plurality of affixable media. Each of the affixable media comprise a scannable code and a description of the online content that will be displayed when the code is scanned by a recipient. A purchaser is able to create a personalized card or scrapbook by selecting a card or scrapbook from the point of sale display, selecting a scannable code based on its associated description, and then affixing the selected scannable code to the selected card or scrapbook, thereby creating a personalized card or scrapbook that directs the recipient to online content chosen by the purchaser from the set of options provided by the various affixable media.
