Abstract: A method and a related station for applying a sensing device to a tyre are described. A tape-shaped support with removably fixed sensing devices is advanced, to feed the sensing devices in sequence. A handling device is then rigidly coupled to a sensing device, maintaining at least a portion of an adhesion surface of the sensing device removably fixed to a support. The sensing device is then completely separated from the support, taken away by the handling device, and applied to an inner surface of a tyre by the handling device.

Abstract: In the production of tyres for vehicle wheels in which at least one colored label (200) is provided on at least one of the sidewalls of the tyre, a green tyre is arranged inside a vulcanization mold comprising a first half-shell (50), a second half-shell opposite to the first half-shell (50) and a crown of circumferential sectors configured to air-tightly couple with the first half-shell (50) and with the second half-shell when the vulcanization mold is closed. Each label (200) comprises a layer of colored cross-linkable elastomeric material. Each label (200) is arranged in a predetermined position on a first support surface (50a) defined in at least one of the aforementioned first and second half-shell. The green tyre is arranged inside the vulcanization mold so that one of the sidewalls of the green tyre rests on such a support surface (50a).

Abstract: A method for building green tyres includes: feeding an elementary semifinished product with a feeding apparatus; associating an anthropomorphic robotized arm with a forming drum; sending movement commands to the arm to move the forming drum in a working zone, the forming drum being moved while the feeding apparatus is feeding an elementary semifinished product, so that it is laid on the forming drum. Movement commands are sent to the arm, including: determining target coordinates for the arm in order to move the forming drum in the working zone; modifying the target coordinates by a correction function associated with the arm and the working zone, and using the modified coordinates for such movement commands.
