  • Patent number: 11039568
Abstract: A particulate material leveling system includes an agitating system disposed within a storage tank for a particulate material. The agitating system includes a drive system and a shaft coupled to the drive system. Further, the drive system drives the shaft to rotate about a central axis. The agitating system also includes a wrapped wire coupled to the shaft. The wrapped wire extends around the shaft along a helical path in an axial direction and a circumferential direction, and the wrapped wire moves the particulate material in the axial direction in response to rotation of the shaft in a first direction about the central axis.

  • Publication number: 20190230848
Abstract: A particulate material sensing and agitation control system includes a controller with a memory and a processor, where the controller is configured to receive at least one sensor signal indicative of a measured profile of a particulate material within a storage tank of an agricultural system, determine whether a variation between the measured profile and a target profile is greater than a threshold value, and output a first output signal to a user interface indicative of instructions to inform an operator of a profile variation, output a second signal to an agitating system indicative of activation of the agitating system, or a combination thereof, in response to determining that the variation between the measured profile and the target profile is greater than the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20170339819
Abstract: A row unit includes a blade and a packer arm pivotally coupled to a packer support structure. The row unit also includes a packer wheel rotatably coupled to the packer arm, and configured to rotate across a soil surface to limit a penetration depth of the blade into the soil. The row unit further includes an actuator having a first portion rotatably coupled to the packer arm and a second portion rotatably coupled to the packer support structure, wherein the penetration depth of the blade is controlled by extending and contracting the actuator.

  • Patent number: 5572421
Abstract: A hand-held, battery-powered medical questionnaire presentation device is provided for use by a patient. The device has means for displaying questions to the patient, a limited number of keys by which the patient can enter answers, and a memory device for storing the patient's answers. The device is controlled by a pre-programmed microcomputer which stores in a memory the text of user instructions, medical or health-related questions, and words to be used in printed reports. The microcomputer is programmed to tally the patient's answers and, on the basis of that information and objective data supplied by a medical staffer, to present an evaluation of aspects of the patient's medical condition or health status.
