Publication number: 20220410430Abstract: A demolding kit for concrete products to be molded and demolded. The demolding kit comprises a deformable mold having two rigid spines, a longitudinal mold volume extending transversally to the spines for molding a product, and a resting face opposed to the mold volume; and a bed having a non-matching shape relative to the resting face of the deformable mold. Clearance between the resting face and the bed about at least one of the spines is present when the resting face rests on the bed without exterior force applied thereon. The deformable mold is configured to have the resting face at least partially adopting the shape of the bed when exterior face is applied on the spines, thereby at least partially releasing the product from the mold volume.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2022Publication date: December 29, 2022Inventor: Louis HEBERT

Patent number: 11472062Abstract: A filling apparatus for filling a mold volume of a mold with mold material. The filling apparatus comprises a frame, a retention plate mounted to the frame, and a shovel mounted to the frame, the shovel being complementary to the retention plate to define a reservoir for containing the mold material. The shovel is movable relatively the frame to open the reservoir for the mold material to fall onto the mold to fill up the mold volume, to scrape the surface of the mold and thereby to push exceeding mold material over the retention plate, and to abut the retention plate to form the reservoir. The filling apparatus is adapted to refill the reservoir with exceeding mold material once the mold volume is filled with mold material.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2019Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Inventor: Louis Hebert

Patent number: 10844599Abstract: A ceiling beam grid is an open grid constructed from beams of a few standard sizes that are connected together by connection blocks at the intersections of the beams. The connection blocks are suspended from the structural ceiling of the room by means of an anchor and hanger and are spaced in a grid pattern to accommodate the standard size beams between adjacent connection blocks. The standard size beams are then attached to and supported between the connection blocks. The beams are connected to the connection blocks by a vertical tongue and groove connection. The tongue and groove connection provides a sliding connection that allows the beams to be easily connected and disconnected from the connection blocks without the need of tools. Consequently, the ceiling beam grid can be easily reconfigured to accommodate changes in the room below.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2019Date of Patent: November 24, 2020Assignee: Price Industries LimitedInventors: Julian Rimmer, Jordan Hiebert, Marc Louis Hebert, Sylvia Bistrong, Alexandra Fom, Gustavo Cardero, Dan Ducharme, Srivani Bahumanyam

Publication number: 20080257330Abstract: An impact block splitter and a method of splitting casted concrete blocks is described. The impact block splitter is comprised of a cylindrical housing with a splitting blade secured to a lower end of the cylindrical housing. The splitting blade has an impact receiving rear end projecting inside the cylindrical housing. An impact element is displaceably mounted behind the impact receiving rear end of the spitting blade inside the housing. The cylindrical housing is displaceable axially to a downward position wherein the splitting blade is positioned on a surface of a block to be split. A pneumatic control system actuates the impact element to project it in a downward motion against the impact receiving rear end of the splitting blade to impart a blow thereto and to also cause the impact element to be retracted in an upward motion.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2008Publication date: October 23, 2008Inventors: Louis HEBERT, Ian HAVILL
