  • Patent number: 9739292
Abstract: A hydraulic accumulator having a closing arrangement. The accumulator has a housing, a removable end cap, a segmented locking ring, and a pilot ring. The housing has at least one opening, an interior space, and a ring recess adjacent the opening. The removable end cap is sized to close the opening when in a closed position. The segmented locking ring is removably positioned within the ring recess adjacent the end cap opposite the interior space to stop the end cap from moving in a first direction away from the interior space. The locking ring may be segmented. The pilot ring is removably connected to the end cap and positioned to hold the locking ring in the ring recess when connected to the end cap.

  • Patent number: 6791503
Abstract: A reception antenna system for electrical connection to the positive and negative sides of a transmission feedline employed in television and other telecommunications includes a reflector having a conductive surface. The system includes an even group of electrically open-ended radial pairs, having positive and negative ends, of hollow, substantially scalene triangular conductive loops, each loop of each pair being internally symmetric about a radius of the reflector, each pair of the group disposed at an uniform offset from the surface of the reflector, the offset defined by insulative mounting elements. Upon the reflector are elements for electrically connecting one negative end and one of the open-ended loop pairs to an adjacent negative end of another of the loop pairs to thereby define at least two loop pairs, each of which two pairs define a single conductive array which is electrically, but not radiationally, discreet from the reflector.

  • Patent number: 6129714
Abstract: An urinary drainage unit including a fluid-tight bag of a material, a major portion of which is flexible. The bag includes a liquid inlet and a gas outlet, both situated at a top of the bag which includes a liquid outlet at its bottom. The unit also includes a normally closed flutter valve (also known as a duckbill valve) having opposing lips, the valve extending integrally downwardly from the liquid inlet and disposed internally to the bag within its flexible portion, the flutter valve including a longitudinally disposed wire, between its lips, in which potential liquid flow across the liquid inlet, caused by an excess of internal bag pressure over body generated inlet pressure, is minimized by a venting function of the wire.

  • Patent number: 4989014
Abstract: A reception antenna system for electrical connection to the positive and negative sides of a transmission feedline employed in television and other telecommunications includes a reflector having a conductive surface and further having a circumferential raised edge to provide reflected signals to the reflector.

  • Patent number: 4584586
Abstract: There is disclosed herein a multi-turn antenna which comprises an electrically conducting surface. This surface consists of an even plurality of symmetric pairs of hollow, substantially isosceles triangular loops. Each pair of loops is electrically connected to its adjacent pair. Each pair comprises an electromagnetic wave guide. Each symmetric pair is disposed parallel to its adjacent loop pair. All loop pairs are disposed perpendicularly to the direction of wave propagation, as defined by a primary broadcast source.
