Abstract: A video gaming device includes a central gaming unit in communication with a heads-up display and a location sensing sensor. The location sensor is preferably in the form of a global positioning system satellite receiver, and senses the video gaming device's geographic location. Ideally, the video gaming device is used in conjunction with a vehicle, such as a recreational vehicle in the form of a snowmobile, all terrain vehicle or personal watercraft. Game play is controlled by interaction with the vehicle, thus combining the enjoyment derived from operation of the vehicle with enjoyment derived from the game. Optionally, a plurality of sensors and interfaces sense the operating condition of the vehicle, and reaction of the user. Various games may be loaded into the device from a computer readable medium storing gaming software.
