    Abstract: An apparatus for the separation of waste paper includes a slanted conveyor belt with a lower end and an upper end, the upper end being positioned at a height above the lower end, the conveyor belt traveling from the lower end to the upper end. A plurality of drive mechanisms drive the slanted conveyor belt. At least one load mechanism supplies the waste paper at the lower end of the conveyor belt. At least one air pressure system is positioned adjacent to the upper end of the conveyor belt. The plurality of drive mechanisms provide a minimum speed of 3 meters per second.
