Abstract: A system for the design, review and/or presentation of prototype solutions for vehicles includes a plurality of hardware components movable and/or adjustable to different positions. A virtual reality headset is configured to display a representation of virtual components corresponding to the hardware components. Object detection sensors detect a position of objects, including the headset and/or hands of a user. An electronic control system includes a driver unit, a control unit and a processing unit. The driver unit provides actuation commands to actuators and/or receives position data therefrom, and is coupled to the object detection sensors. The driver unit carries out sensor data fusion processing on data indicative of a position of the objects. The control unit is coupled to the driver unit to send commands thereto and to receive feedback status and position data therefrom. The processing unit receives from the driver unit the positions of the objects and produces the virtual representation.

Abstract: Vehicle structure includes a front seat for a driver and a rear seat for a passenger aligned with each other. The front seat is slidable and/or tiltable between a rearward position, in which it is rigidly secured to the frame of the rear seat by a releasable locking device, and a forward position, in which a gap is formed between the front seat and the rear seat to facilitate the access and exit of the passenger.
