An annular base in the form of a skirt is placed around and below the bottom of the vessel, and it has a plurality of spaced orifices which provides for air circulation underneath the vessel, this preventing condensation from occurring on a tabletop or other supporting surface. The state of the temperature maintenance chamber is viewable through the transparent outer wall.
