  • Patent number: 11765750
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control signaling indicating a first uplink configuration including a first set of resources for uplink transmissions over a carrier and a second uplink configuration including a second set of resources for uplink transmissions over the carrier, where the second set of resources are different from the first set of resources. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a first uplink transmission via the carrier according to the first uplink configuration. The UE may then transmit, to the base station an in accordance with an initiation of a channel occupancy time (COT) for the carrier, a second uplink transmission via the carrier according to the second uplink configuration.

  • Patent number: 11758523
Abstract: Aspects relate to an integrated access backhaul (IAB)-Distributed Unit (DU) resource configuration framework for paired (e.g., frequency division duplex (FDD)) spectrum. Two DU resource configurations per cell may be supported for paired spectrum, including one for a first spectrum band (e.g., a downlink frequency band) and another for a second spectrum band (e.g., an uplink frequency band) of the paired spectrum. Each DU resource configuration may include a respective symbol pattern of symbol types (e.g., downlink (DL), uplink (UL), flexible) for a plurality of slots, as well as a corresponding availability attribute for each symbol type (e.g., hard, soft, or not available). A DU of an IAB node in an IAB network may receive the two DU resource configurations for the paired spectrum from a central unit (CU) of an IAB donor node in the IAB network.

  • Patent number: 11723045
Abstract: A configuration for local coordination between the child node and parent node to enable SDM communication between the parent and child node, without input or interaction from the CU. The apparatus receives, from a CU, an indication including an allocation of resources. The apparatus determines a type of communication with a second node based on the allocation of resources. The apparatus communicates with the second node based on the determined type of communication and utilizing the allocated resources. The apparatus coordinates with a parent node to utilize the allocated resources in an SDM operation between the child node and the parent node.

  • Patent number: 11716775
Abstract: Aspects relate to a soft physical cell identifier (PCI) change within a wireless network. A scheduling entity may communicate with a set of one or more scheduled entities within a first cell utilizing a first PCI. The scheduling entity may determine that a second PCI of a second cell co-located with the first cell has been assigned to the scheduling entity, for example, as a result of a PCI collision. The scheduling entity may implement a soft PCI change from the first PCI to the second PCI during a transition period within which the set of one or more scheduled entities may be transferred from the first cell to the second cell. The scheduling entity may then discontinue using the first PCI after completion of the transition period.

  • Patent number: 11711733
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. a first donor node may serve a relay node, which in turn may serve a child node. The first donor node may determine to transfer (e.g., via a handover procedure) the relay node to a second donor node. The first donor node may transmit a first context transfer request for the relay node to the second donor node, and may transmit a second context transfer request for the child node of the relay node to the second donor node. The first donor node may indicate a correlation between the two context transfers. The second donor node may identify the correlated context transfers, and may successfully perform a migration procedure for the relay node and any descendent devices or nodes based on the correlated context transfers.
