  • Patent number: 11560213
Abstract: Closure devices and methods are provided for closing a stringer penetration space defined between a stringer and a wing rib of an aircraft wing section. According to certain embodiments, the closure devices will integrally include a forward face plate positioned in covering relationship to at least a portion of the stringer penetration space, and a rearwardly projecting attachment arm rigidly adapted for rigid attachment to the stringer so as to positionally fix the forward face plate relative to the stringer penetration space.

  • Patent number: 11216329
Abstract: Examples include a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium having stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a processing resource to monitor sensory inputs related to a device, monitor a first maintenance intervention related to the device, store data relating to the monitored sensory inputs and the first maintenance intervention in a centralized database, and predict a second maintenance intervention based on the data stored in the centralized database.

  • Publication number: 20210303582
Abstract: A technique includes clustering a plurality of applications that are executed on a plurality of computers based on a plurality of usage metrics that are associated with the executions of the applications to provide a plurality of application clusters. The computers are associated with a plurality of computer configurations, and a given application cluster is associated with a group of the usage metrics. The technique includes, for a given application cluster, determining a set of computer configurations represented by the given application cluster. The technique includes ranking the set of computer configurations based on a distribution of the group of usage metrics and a distribution of a subset of the group of usage metrics associated with each computer configuration. The technique includes selecting a computer configuration based on an application profile and the ranking of the computer configurations.

  • Patent number: 11003518
Abstract: Example systems may relate to component failure prediction. A non-transitory computer readable medium may contain instructions to analyze a plurality of features corresponding to a component of a system. The non-transitory computer readable medium may further contain instructions to determine which of the plurality of features to use to model a failure of the component. The non-transitory computer readable medium may contain instructions to generate a plurality of models to model the failure of the component and assemble the plurality of models into a single model for predicting component failure. The non-transitory computer readable medium may further contain instructions to extract data associated with a component failure predicted by the single model and correlate the data associated with the predicted component failure with the single model.

  • Patent number: 10877430
Abstract: In one example, an electromechanical device includes a removable component comprising an electronic identification tag. The apparatus also includes a plurality of tag readers disposed at a plurality of sectors in the apparatus to detect the electronic identification tag and signal strengths associated with the detected electronic identification tag, and send the signal strengths to a tracking system.
