  • Patent number: 6050115
Abstract: A rod system device extending from its lock unit to a tensioning devicc of the door catch mechanism which takes up two positions is connected in the door catch mechanism with a pivotable unlocking hammer so that the door catch mechanism can be released from the drive rod locking mechanism. The door catch mechanism has an unlocking lever which, when engaged with a bolt element, is ready for contact opposite a trigger element of the tensioning device so that following the unlocking of a bar/drive rod locking unit with the lock unit, the bolt element can be moved from the engagement position to a release position by deflection of the unlocking hammer.

  • Patent number: 5896763
Abstract: A locking device for a door, or the like, with a fixed frame and a leaf includes a main lock and a leaf-restraining device on the leaf, with a driving pin of the leaf-restraining device being engageable with a gap limiter installed on the fixed frame. The main lock and the leaf-restraining device are connected to each other in such a manner that, from the main lock the driving pin can only be disengaged from the gap limiter by operating the latch of the main lock by means of a locking element.

  • Patent number: 5265920
Abstract: In the case of a drive rod lock, the drive is guided in the region of the faceplate and in that a housing is mounted on the faceplate. Rotatably mounted in the housing is a handle bush and follower for moving the drive rod. This handle bush and follower assembly is pretensioned into a mid-way position and can be pivoted out of this mid-way position in opposite directions of rotation. The handle bush and follower assembly acts on a control element which is guided parallel with the drive rod and in the vicinity of a narrow side of the housing remote from the drive rod. A handle bush and follower restoring spring engages this control element. A two-armed transmission lever extends from the control element to the drive rod and is mounted in the housing between the control element and the drive rod. A clearance exists between the transmission lever and the control element.

  • Patent number: 5197771
Abstract: A window or a door comprises a stationary frame and two leaf frames. The leaf frames are mounted for pivoting movement about mutually parallel pivot axes. A first leaf frame is intended for more frequent opening and closing, and a second leaf frame is intended for less opening and closing. The second leaf frame can be locked with respect to the stationary frame by drive rods which move in opposite sense and which engage the stationary frame at the respective ends thereof. The first leaf frame is provided with the vertical height of the first leaf frame. This first drive rod is driven by a first drive mechanism. The first drive rod controls transverse bolts for engagement with the second leaf frame. The transverse bolts driven by the first drive rod are located outside the first drive mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4962653
Abstract: In a drive rod lock the drive rod is moved from a lock cylinder through a step-down gearing between an open position and a closed position and vice versa. A coupling of the step-down gearing to the drive rod is proposed which permits, in the case of rotation of the lock cylinder through 2.degree..times.360.degree., of shifting the drive rod from the open position into the closed position against displacement, without a torque being introduced due to the blocking forces into the step-down gearing and thus the lock cylinder.
