  • Patent number: 11356032
Abstract: A method for operating switching elements of a multilevel energy converter using at least three electric potentials and to which a multiphase electrical machine is connected. Switching elements of the multilevel energy converter are operated in a predefined clock mode by corresponding switching signals. The switching signals for the switching elements are each assigned to one of the phases and are determined in accordance with each desired voltage signal, in order to apply a phase voltage to each phase of the multiphase electrical machine. The switching signals are determined additionally in accordance with a predefined overlaying voltage signal such that an overlaying voltage dependent on the overlaying voltage signal is overlaid onto each phase voltage.

  • Patent number: 11140000
Abstract: A signal transmission apparatus has several serially-connected signal distribution modules, wherein interfaces of two adjacent signal distribution modules are each interconnected by a signal bridge. The signal transmission apparatus also has at least one direct connection between two signal distribution modules, which is routed through all signal bridges arranged between the two adjacent signal distribution modules and interconnects the interfaces of the adjacent signal bridges. In addition, a signal transmission bus is routed through all signal bridges and via all interfaces. The interfaces of all signal distribution modules have an identical design and all signal bridges connect two interfaces in the same way.

  • Patent number: 10141860
Abstract: A converter with a DC link for converting an input voltage into an alternating voltage with a pre-determined amplitude and frequency for driving a single or multiple-phase load may include a number of modules which are stackable over one another. Each module may have a ceramic cooling body with a receiving surface on which electronic components of one phase are mounted, wherein the ceramic cooling body has channel(s) in the region of the receiving surface for carrying a coolant during the operation of the converter The converter may include a DC link capacitor and input-side and output-side power connections arranged on a first carrier having a arranged perpendicular to the receiving surface. The converter may also include a control unit for driving the electronic components of the phase, the control unit being arranged on a second carrier having a main plane arranged perpendicularly to the plane of the receiving surface.
