  • Publication number: 20240169501
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media that modify digital images via scene-based editing using image understanding facilitated by artificial intelligence. For instance, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems generate, utilizing a segmentation neural network and without user input, object masks for objects in a digital image. The disclosed systems determine foreground and background abutting an object mask. The disclosed systems generate an expanded object mask by expanding the object mask into the foreground abutting the object mask by a first amount and expanding the object mask into the background abutting the object mask by a second amount that differs from the first amount. • Patent number: 11835183
Abstract: A booster-ejector system captures and recycles leakage fluids from a process. When a pressure differential (head) of the process is above a threshold value, an ejector system uses motive fluid from a process high-pressure (HP) region to entrain and compress the leakage fluid, and direct it to a low pressure (LP) region. When the head is below the threshold value, a controller reconfigures a plumbing system and activates a leakage pump to pump the leakage fluid to the LP region. The system can include only one ejector, or a plurality thereof, which can be coupled such that the diffuser output of each ejector is directed to the suction input of the next ejector. At least one of the ejectors can include an exchangeable throat, which can impart a rotational component to the fluid. The HP and LP regions can be the output and input, respectively, of a compressor.

  • Patent number: 11462040
Abstract: A distractor detector includes a heatmap network and a distractor classifier. The heatmap network operates on an input image to generate a heatmap for a main subject, a heatmap for a distractor, and optionally a heatmap for the background. Each object is cropped within the input image to generate a corresponding cropped image. Regions within the heatmaps that correspond to the objects are identified, and each of the regions is cropped within each of the heatmaps to generate cropped heatmaps. The distractor classifier then operates on the cropped images and the cropped heatmaps to classify each of the objects as being either a main subject or a distractor.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to track network topology changes are disclosed. An example topology tool to track a change to a network topology includes a message processor to, in response to a reporting message generated by a software defined network controller, identify a unique identifier (UID) associated with a network element to be subject to a topology change event, where the reporting message including topology change information corresponding to the topology change event scheduled to occur at a future time. A database search tool is to search a first topology database for a first post-confirmation data record corresponding to the UID and in response to the first post-confirmation data record missing from the first topology database, search a second topology database for a first pre-confirmation data record corresponding to the UID. A database controller is to generate a second pre-confirmation data record in response to the first pre-confirmation data record missing from the second topology database.

  • Patent number: 10210258
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to track network topology changes are disclosed. An example apparatus includes machine readable instructions, and a processor to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations include, in response to a reporting message generated by a software defined controller containing topology change information corresponding to a topology change event scheduled to occur at a future time, store, in a topology database, a pre-validation data record reflecting the occurrence of the topology change event. The pre-validation data record indicates the occurrence is not validated. In addition, a validation seeking message is generated to validate occurrence of the topology change event and is transmitted to a network device to be subject to the topology change event after the future time. In response to a validation message from the network device, a post-validation data record is stored in the topology database.

  • Patent number: 9998382
Abstract: A process and system for user-controlled configuration of an Internet protocol network. The user may supply input for generating a network classification profile, which includes a number of classes of service (COSs) for prioritizing network traffic, including video transmission. A quality of service (QOS) may be measured and compared with a COS for video transmission. Depending on the measured QOS, a network alert may be issued and a priority of packets associated with the COS for video transmission may be increased.

  • Patent number: 9719521
Abstract: A gas supply system for a mechanical seal turns on the gas supply at a pressurized flow rate at the time of compressor case pressurization and remains on during compressor rotation until pressure is adequate. The gas supply system has an intensifier that includes a pair of mechanically inter-connected pneumatic pressure cylinders which comprise a drive cylinder that affects movement of a boost cylinder wherein the displacement of these mechanically interconnected pistons in the drive cylinder and boost cylinder intensifies the pressure being discharged by the boost cylinder and supplied as a barrier fluid to the mechanical seal. The intensifier uses a control valve and operating system which includes a fast-acting 5/2-way solenoid valve having a feedback loop connected to a control system which includes a microprocessor that controls valve actuation.
