Abstract: Methods, systems, and vehicles are provided for recording vehicle data. In accordance with one embodiment, a vehicle comprises a wheel, a plurality of cameras, and a processor. The plurality of cameras and the processor are disposed onboard the vehicle. The processor is configured to at least facilitate determining whether the vehicle is engaging in a turn, and providing instructions for the plurality of cameras to automatically record a view of the wheel when it is determined that the vehicle is engaging in the turn.

Abstract: Methods and systems to control a position of a reflective surface of a mirror of a vehicle are disclosed. The method includes providing the vehicle with at least one sensor configured to measure at least one vehicle characteristic and a controller in electronic communication with the at least one sensor; receiving, by the controller, vehicle data corresponding to the at least one vehicle characteristic from the at least one vehicle sensor; calculating, by the controller, a reflective surface adjustment based on the vehicle data; and automatically controlling, by the controller, the actuator to change the position of the reflective surface of the mirror from a first position to a second position based on the reflective surface adjustment.
