  • Patent number: 5794637
Abstract: An umbrella of the type having a canopy that is fastened to a folding radial frame with hinged ribs radiating from a center pole, and a sliding catch which pivotally supports the braces of said ribs is disclosed. Secured between the sliding catch and the ribs is the reinforcing guy assembly. This assembly consists of elongated strings having its inner ends connected to said sliding catch and its outer ends connected to the outer ends of said ribs, and suspender means having its lower ends connected to said elongated strings and its upper ends connected to said ribs.

  • Patent number: 5192129
Abstract: A light reflector for use with a lighting fixture substantially concave in one plane of intersection and disposed in a direction parallel to an elongated light source comprising a central section optionally intersected by other light reflecting planes and a pair of arcuatte wing sections positioned on opposite sides of the central section. The light reflector may be formed of a light reflective material or coated with light reflective material.

  • Patent number: 5095651
Abstract: A worn vehicle tire is formed into a multi-purpose receptacle. A section of the tire is formed by first slicing the tire along the circumferential axis thereof and then making two transverse cuts. The opposed free ends of this piece are joined by metal straps or other fasteners. A bottom, preferably also made of a portion of a vehicle tire, is set into the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 5062030
Abstract: A light reflector for specific use in combination with a lighting fixture having one or more elongate light source such as fluorescent lamp is disclosed. It has a plurality of angled planar light reflecting surfaces disposed behind and symmetrically of the light source and includes a central reflecting surface. The light reflector is so dimensioned and substantially configured such that it could readily be assembled and/or fitted about in all existing fixtures. For instance, one or two reflectors could readily fit to two or four-bulb lighting fixtures, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4499529
Abstract: A light reflector for specific use in combination with an elongate light source such as a fluorescent lamp. It has a plurality of reflecting surfaces disposed behind and symmetrically of the light source and includes opposed central tangent reflecting surfaces. The cumulative effect of the reflecting surfaces is to synthesize the light rays emitted upwards with those emitted downwards by the sourve towards the area to be lighted.

  • Patent number: 3975022
Abstract: This invention is concerned with an electrically operated game device wherein a number selector means consisting of at least two electrically actuated spinnable pointers are provided to select or indicate at random a set of numbers, which numbers form possible arithmetical combinations. The rotation of each of said spinnable pointers is made variable and sequential by the use of a timing device. A horizontally disposed playing glass panel is disposed forwardly of said number selector means, said playing panel having several transverse rows of numerical indicia outlined thereon whereby all the possible arithmetical combinations arising from the randomly indicated numbers could be reflected thereon. An electrical control panel is provided wherein a set of switches are provided to actuate the number selector means and the lighting means disposed on said playing panel.
