  • Publication number: 20220266937
Abstract: A telescopic saddle support for supporting a bicycle saddle includes a support unit to be secured on or in the frame of a bicycle; a telescoping unit to be moved in a guided manner relative to the support unit within a specified telescoping range, the telescoping range extending from a minimum length of the saddle support to a maximum length of the saddle support; and a coupling device arranged between the telescoping unit and the support unit. A coupling device part which is paired with the support unit is connected to the support unit in a fixed manner, and the telescoping unit can be coupled to the support unit via the coupling device. A blocking device releasably blocks the guided telescoping movement of the telescoping unit relative to the support unit. The coupling device has an adjustment mechanism via which the maximum length of the saddle support can be adjusted, an axial force which acts on the telescoping unit being transmitted to the support unit via the coupling device.

  • Patent number: 10864955
Abstract: A telescopic seat post, in particular for fastening in a seat tube (SR) of a bicycle (FR), includes: —a tubularly configured telescopic element with a longitudinal axis (LA) and a cavity extending along the longitudinal axis (LA), —a piston rod extending along the longitudinal axis (LA) in the cavity of the telescopic element, —a force accumulator connected to the piston rod for moving the piston rod in the direction of the longitudinal axis (LA), wherein an intermediate element is provided which is displaceable along the piston rod and along the telescopic segment in the direction of the longitudinal axis (LA) and is fastenable releasably to the piston rod in various positions along the longitudinal axis (LA) and, irrespective of the position on the piston rod, is fastenable releasably in various positions along the longitudinal axis (LA) of the telescopic segment.

  • Patent number: 10752307
Abstract: A positioning device for a telescoping seat post of a bicycle frame includes a tubular telescopic element having a longitudinal axis, a locking device located on an inner surface of the telescopic element, and a tubular supporting element, which is supported in the telescopic element in a rotationally fixed and slidable manner. At least one locking device having at least one locking element is provided and, which can be brought into engagement with the locking device. The locking device has radial grooves, which are arranged in the inner surface of the telescopic element and are bounded in the circumferential direction. The at least one locking element can be actuated by at least one control element.
