  • Patent number: 11919407
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for detecting foreign objects. In one aspect an apparatus for detecting a presence of an object is provided. The apparatus includes a resonant circuit having a resonant frequency. The resonant circuit includes a sense circuit including an electrically conductive structure. The apparatus further includes a coupling circuit coupled to the sense circuit. The apparatus further includes a detection circuit coupled to the sense circuit via the coupling circuit. The detection circuit is configured to detect the presence of the object in response to detecting a difference between a measured characteristic that depends on a frequency at which the resonant circuit is resonating and a corresponding characteristic that depends on the resonant frequency of the resonant circuit. The coupling circuit is configured to reduce a variation of the resonant frequency by the detection circuit in the absence of the object.

  • Patent number: 11873468
Abstract: Catechol-group-containing polymers with amine or amide functionality, containing at least one repeating unit of the formula (I) and at least one repeating unit of the formula (II) and optionally further repeating units The repeating units of the formula (II) are different from the repeating units of the formula (I) and the molar ratio of the units of the formula (I) to the units of the formula (II) is in the range from 0.5-to-1 to 4-to-1, are suitable for the dirt-repellent finishing of substrate surfaces, particularly surfaces of textiles, glass, ceramics or plastics. The polymers have an excellent adhesion to these surfaces, so that during cleaning of a substrate surface they adsorb to the substrate surface from the aqueous cleaning or washing liquor and realize their effect.

  • Publication number: 20230130187
Abstract: An optical measuring system is used to reproduce a target wavefront of an imaging optical production system when an object is illuminated with illumination light. The optical measuring system comprises an object holder displaceable by actuator means and at least one optical component displaceable by actuator means. Within the scope of the target wavefront reproduction, a starting actuator position set (X0), in which each actuator is assigned a starting actuator position, is initially specified. An expected design wavefront (WD) which approximates the target wavefront and which the optical measuring system produces as a set wavefront is determined. A coarse measurement of a starting wavefront (W0) which the optical measuring system produces as actual wavefront after actually setting the starting actuator position set (X0) is carried out.

  • Publication number: 20220381643
Abstract: To determine an imaging quality of an optical system when illuminated by illumination light within an entrance pupil or exit pupil, a test structure is initially arranged in an object plane of the optical system and an illumination angle distribution for illuminating the test structure with the illumination light is specified. The test structure is illuminated at different distance positions relative to the object plane. An intensity of the illumination light is measured in an image plane of the optical system, the illumination light having been guided by the optical system when imaging the test structure at each distance position. An aerial image measured in this way is compared with a simulated aerial image and fit parameters of a function set for describing the simulated aerial image are adapted and a wavefront of the optical system is determined on the basis of the result of a minimized difference.

  • Publication number: 20220290872
Abstract: A cooking-appliance system includes a cooktop having a cooktop panel with an extractor aperture for suction extraction of vapors which are produced in an operating state. An extractor unit is provided for suction extraction of the vapors through the extractor aperture; and an oven is arranged beneath the cooktop in an installation position.

  • Patent number: 6332657
Abstract: To assemble pieces of furniture, for example shelves, hollow supporting shapes (1, 2, 3) having a rectangular cross-section are connected by means of Lshaped angle braces (4) and tenons (5) which can be inserted into the ends of the shapes so as to form frames (19, 21), and assembled into cubic pieces of furniture using said shapes (3) as upright posts. According to the invention, frame shapes (23) having four chambers are preferably also used, which can save as the resting edges for shelves (22). These frame shapes (23) have a slot (36, 37, 38, 39) for each chamber, in which slots sliding door elements (33, 34) of different thicknesses can be held by means of an elastic shape (35) in such a way that the doors can easily be displaced. Said elastic shapes (35) preferably comprise grooves (36, 37, 38, 39) of different thicknesses for receiving the sliding door elements (33, 34).
