  • Patent number: 11758631
Abstract: The invention relates to a synchronous flyback converter (100) having terminals for supplying an LED load. The synchronous flyback converter (100) comprises a sensing winding (Lw) coupled to a primary winding (Lp) of a transformer T of the flyback converter (100), a control unit (106) controlling a primary side switch (S1) in series to the primary winding (Lp) of the flyback converter (100) using a feedback signal for a closed loop control of a secondary side voltage of the flyback converter (100) by controlling the frequency and/or duty cycle of the switching of the primary side switch (S1), wherein the feedback signal is derived from a sensing voltage across the sensing winding (Lw) sampled once during a switch-on time of a secondary side switch (S2) of the flyback converter (100).

  • Patent number: 11737188
Abstract: The invention relates to an LED-driver, comprising an actively switched PFC circuitry and a bus interface for a wire-bound bus, wherein a voltage supply for the bus interface for powering the bus is tapped off the output voltage of the active PFC circuitry, further comprising a control circuitry for a feedback control of an output voltage of the actively switched PFC by controlling a switch of the PFC, wherein the time constant of the feedback control of the control circuitry is faster during time periods in which the bus interface is transmitting or receiving signals, compared to time periods without activity.

  • Patent number: 10306715
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly which consists of control gear for lamps and an electric circuit, said control gear comprising at least one energy transmission element, for example a transformer. The electric circuit has an inductive coupling element arranged in a stray magnetic field of the energy transmission element. The electric circuit comprises a voltage supply unit designed to produce a supply voltage for the electric circuit from energy absorbed from the stray magnetic or electromagnetic field of the energy transmission element.

  • Patent number: 10285231
Abstract: The invention relates to a switching regulator for operating luminaires, comprising a control circuit (4). The control circuit (4) is designed to operate, by triggering the switch (5) that is coupled to a coil, the switching regulator (3) in a limit mode of operation when the load generated by the luminaire (2) is so high that the resulting switching-off threshold exceeds a predefined minimum switching-off value, and operate the switching regulator in a discontinuous mode of operation at the minimum switching-off value when the load generated by the luminaire (2) is so low that the switching-off threshold in a limit mode of operation would lie below the predefined minimum switching-off value. The signal representing the current is fed to the control circuit (4) in both the limit mode of operation and the discontinuous mode of operation without being subjected to any external mean value generation.
