  • Patent number: 8279198
Abstract: A resistive touch panel has a lower panel module and an upper panel module, an adhesive layer, a separating layer and a flexible circuit board. The lower panel module has a substrate, a lower conducting layer and a plurality of electrodes. The upper panel module has a protective film, an upper conducting layer, a pattern layer, an ink electrode mounted to electrically connect with the flexible circuit board, and an insulation layer. One end of the flexible circuit board and the separating layer are sandwiched between the top surface of the lower conducting layer and the top surface of the upper conducting layer. Given the foregoing structure, the components and steps for fabricating the resistive touch panel can be reduced since the pattern layer is directly printed on the bottom surface of the upper conducting layer. Therefore, fabricating yields are increased.

  • Publication number: 20110025617
Abstract: A hybrid touch panel has a first substrate, a second substrate, and an insulation layer and a separating layer sandwiched between the first and second substrates. The first substrate has a first transparent electrode mounted thereon. A plurality of first electrodes are respectively mounted alongside edges of the first transparent electrode and are respectively connected with a plurality of first leading lines. The second substrate has a plurality of juxtaposed second transparent electrodes respectively corresponding to the first transparent electrode, a plurality of second electrodes respectively mounted on the second transparent electrodes and connected with a plurality of wires and second leading lines. Each second transparent electrode accompanying with the first transparent electrode forms an active areas. Accordingly, a multi-area touch panel can be constructed to enable a more smooth and flexible operation.

  • Publication number: 20100085315
Abstract: A flat touch panel has a top and bottom substrate, a top and bottom transparent conductive film formed on the corresponding first and second substrates and a FPC mounted on a bottom face of the bottom substrate. At least one top conductive line is formed on the top transparent conductive film. Multiple bottom conductive line is formed on the bottom face of the second substrate. The top conductive line is electronically connected to the corresponding terminal of the FPC through the conductive material in the first through holes. The bottom transparent conductive film is electronically connected to the corresponding terminals of the FPC through the second through holes with the material and the bottom conductive lines. Since the bottom conductive lines and the FPC are directly formed on the bottom face of the bottom substrate, the flatness of the touch panel is good and the visible area is increased.

  • Publication number: 20080185192
Abstract: A touch panel has a substrate, a touching layer, an interval frame and a moisture resisting assembly. First and second electric conductive layers are formed respectively on opposite surfaces of the substrate and the touching layer. The interval frame is formed between the substrate and the touching layer to form a space and has an air hole. The moisture resisting assembly is mounted in the air hole to allow air entering the space and prevent moisture entering the space.
