Abstract: A star dome structure having a rib vault formed from prefabricated panels. The structure includes a base, a four-sided star dome, four pentatives, and four column panels. One of four heptagonal panels formed from prefabricated triangular panels is disposed in each space formed by the dome, pentatives, and columns, the lower edge of each heptagonal panel resting on the base. The space between the column panels and the base permit entry and window walls to be installed with the lower edges of the column panels providing eaves.
