    Abstract: In vivo and in vitro methods are taught for stimulating the differentiation of stem cells using certain bryostatins. Stem cells can be induced to form granulocytes, macrophages and erythrocytes. In addition, the cytotoxicity of mature neutrophils can be activated. These methods may substitute for those requiring human colony stimulating factors.
