Abstract: A apparatus and method for operating the apparatus of the present invention provide for a game apparatus incorporating malleable tossing objects and a container wherein the container provides for the ability to have an insert wherein the insert may provide for at least one rigid geometric object on which the malleable tossing object will deflect if the throw of the malleable tossing object lacks precision, further the apparatus provides for an adult beverage theme, and a method for operating the apparatus.

Abstract: A device according to the present invention having a turnbuckle for manually locking and unlocking a display holder used to display information on vehicles and on structures. The turnbuckle is paired with a base. The combination of the turnbuckle and the base are removably coupled with the display holder where the turnbuckles are turned to lock the display holder in place. The combination of the turnbuckle and the base provide for increased frictional stability of the turnbuckle and the display holder. The display holder provides a sleeve or surface upon which information may be placed in or printed upon. The combination of the turnbuckle, the base and the display holder provides for a fixture. The turnbuckle may be paired with multiple embodiments of the base, support multiple embodiments of the display holder, and incorporated in multiple embodiment of the fixture. A method of pairing the turnbuckle with the base is provided as well.

The sleeve holder includes an entrance slot having inwardly extending retention ridges which deform and thereby reduce vibration of the retaining sleeve. The sleeve holder may further include a mechanical locking mechanism for securing the sleeve in the sleeve holder.

Abstract: A golf ball retriever comprises a cylindrical receiver with an inner surface of a diameter slightly larger than a standard golf ball, triangular protrusions or ribs extending upwardly and out from the inner surface at an angle of 5 to 11 degrees, connection tabs, and a stop; a retainer that is substantially V-shaped, with its arms extending over the cylinder; and a telescoping rod with at least two pieces of hollow tubing having different diameters and connected with a tapered shim, a plug, and a cap with a glue reservoir. The receiver rotatably mounts to the retainer, which in turn mounts to the telescoping rod. The telescoping rod is formed by plugging one end of a piece of hollow tubing, wrapping the tapered shim around the tubing, inserting the plugged tubing and shim into a larger piece of hollow tubing, placing a cap over the intersection of the two pieces of tubing, and gluing the cap to the larger piece of hollow tubing.
