Abstract: A drywall tape dispensing system includes an open-ended container that retains drywall compound and a drywall tape dispenser that extends downwardly into the drywall compound. The drywall tape dispenser includes a frame having a feed end, a dispensing end, and a support portion. The support portion rests within the drywall compound. A roll of drywall tape is retained at the feed end and the leading edge of the tape extends beneath a support guide on a support portion, and, from there, extends to a metering guide near the dispensing end. As the leading edge of the tape is pulled, additional length of tape is pulled down from the drywall compound under the support guide and then is ultimately dispensed through the metering guide at the dispensing end.

Abstract: A bench step to aid in mounting a bench platform provided by the common drywall bench is provided having a support portion adapted to be fit over a step rail provided by the drywall bench, the support portion being held in place on the step rail by a flange that extends from the support portion. A spacer portion extends from the support portion to distance the support portion from a step portion that extends out from the spacer portion. The step portion is provided with structural support by a step support portion that angles downwardly from the step portion to contact the drywall bench and thereby support the step portion.

Abstract: A device for the remote manipulation of items comprising a support staff having a fore end and an aft end and including a handle at the aft end, a handle fulcrum proximate the aft end, a clamp fulcrum proximate the fore end, and a grip positioned between the handle fulcrum and the clamp fulcrum; a fork extending from the fore end of the support staff; a handle lever pivotally connected to the handle fulcrum and pivotal between an open position and a closed position; a clamp lever pivotally connected to the clamp fulcrum; a clamping tine extending from the clamp lever to be pivotal therewith between an open position and a closed position in relation to the fork; and a linkage extending between the handle lever and the clamp lever such that, when the handle lever is pivoted to the open position, the clamp lever is pivoted to place the clamping tine in the open position in relation to the fork, and, when the handle lever is pivoted to the closed position, the clamp lever is pivoted to place the clamping tine in
