  • Method and apparatus for installing stakes in netting for growing turf

    Abstract: A staple for maintaining netting in an installed position on a ground surface, which netting is used to enhance the growing of turf or sod. The staple has a pointed end and a medial portion extending to a distant end. The distant end has a head portion which is of a width that is greater than the width of the pointed end and the medial portion and is likewise wider that the smallest distance defining the opening in the netting. A method and apparatus for installing the staple is also disclosed.
