  • Patent number: 10126854
Abstract: A device may determine touch position information representing a position where a touch surface is touched by an object, and may determine force information representing a force being applied by the object to the touch surface. Based on the force information, the device may determine that the force applied to the touch surface does not satisfy a force threshold. Afterwards, the device may determine that a particular duration has not elapsed. Finally, after determining that the particular duration has not elapsed, the device may provide the touch position information for further processing.

  • Publication number: 20180305890
Abstract: A method is provided for determining the vertical position of at least a point of a ground portion using a work machine including an implement. The work machine further includes a position determining arrangement adapted to determine at least the vertical position of the implement and a force determining arrangement adapted to determine a force applied to the implement. The method includes determining a contact force value indicative of a contact force between the ground portion and the implement using the force determining arrangement, determining whether or not the contact force value is within a predetermined contact force value range, and if it is determined that the contact force value is within the predetermined contact force value range, using the position determining arrangement for determining at least the vertical position of a portion of the implement which is in contact with the ground portion.

  • Publication number: 20180302931
Abstract: A method for use in a first node in a wireless access communication system (100). According to the method, the first node controls traffic to and from users, UEs, within a certain area in the system, a cell, and the first node is equipped with a plurality of transmit antennas. The first node can employ a variety of multi antenna transmit modes for downlink transmissions, i.e. transmissions to the UEs, and the first node can carry out a so called Random Access (RA) procedure with UEs which do not have a dedicated uplink resource, i.e. a resource to the eNodeB. According to the method, one and the same downlink multi antenna transmit mode is used by the first node during the RA procedure.

  • Publication number: 20180263005
Abstract: A procedure for synchronization of re-configuration of RRC procedures between the radio base station and the UE is achieved by associating a new configuration to be used by a UE with an additional UE identity. The UE is normally identified by a first UE identity, but is informed in a re-configuration message that the UE also has the additional UE identity. The UE is identified by the additional UE identity when the new configuration is to be activated. Hence, when the radio base station detects that the UE responds to requests, which included the additional UE identity, the radio base station can conclude that the UE has activated the new configuration.

  • Patent number: 9571915
Abstract: A headset equipped with one or more materials that can change in size to facilitate the wearing experience by the user. The change in size may provide for a more accurate fit for the user to prevent or reduce the likelihood of the headset inadvertently moving away from the user's ear (e.g., falling out from the ear canal). The changeable size may also be used to convey aspects of the received sound to provide a more powerful listening experience. The material may be constructed from an electroactive polymer that changes in size when stimulated by an electric field. The headset includes a controller with an input for a user to control the size of the material.

  • Patent number: 9516562
Abstract: A method for a cellular system with a plurality of cells with mobile terminals, MSs, and a plurality of Base Stations, BSs. An MS can be handed over from a first BS to a second BS. The method comprises letting the second BS inform the first BS that an update has taken place in the system information of the second BS, and also comprises letting the first BS acquire the updated system information of the second BS, and letting the first BS transmit at least part of the updated system information of the second BS to MSs in the cell of the first BS.

  • Patent number: 9489097
Abstract: A device, having a touch screen display, performs a mutual capacitance scan of rows and columns of an array of capacitive touch sensors associated with the touch screen display. The device selects a subset of the rows, and a subset of the columns, of the array of capacitive touch sensors, and performs a self capacitance scan of the selected subset of the rows, and the selected subset of the columns, of the array of capacitive touch sensors based on results of the mutual capacitance scan. The device identifies an accidental or false touch input on the touch screen display based on results of the self capacitance scan.

  • Patent number: 9436308
Abstract: Data for detected events and predicted events, associated with a user device, are stored. The detected events may be associated with inputs received via the user device, and the predicted events may represent predicted future inputs to the user device. The predicted events may be evaluated to identify an erroneous predicted event, such as a predicted event that differs significantly from a corresponding detected event or a predicted associated with a time period when no corresponding detected event occurs. The erroneous predicted events and set of other prior predicted events are selected to be discarded. For example, the selected set of prior predicted events to discard may be associated with a period of time corresponding to the erroneous predicted event. Instructions may be sent to applications executed by the user device to disregard the selected predicted events.
