  • Publication number: 20210163357
Abstract: A composition contains at least one microorganism which can form a phosphate or carbonate precipitate in an alkaline medium, and at least one calcium source. The composition has at least one silicon compound having at least one Si-atom, at least one C-atom, and at least one H-atom. The composition can be used in a method for producing a construction product.

  • Patent number: 9127433
Abstract: A method for sealing piles in foundations in the construction field, wherein a hollow-body formwork element is used. The method includes: 1) applying a barrier layer to the foundation; 2) introducing a pile into the foundation, the pile being arranged so as to penetrate the barrier layer; 3) applying a hollow-body formwork element along the central longitudinal axis of the pile, the hollow-body formwork element surrounding the pile; 4) introducing mineral binding agents into the intermediate space between the pile and the hollow-body formwork element; 5) connecting the barrier layer and the hollow-body formwork element. The hollow-body formwork element has on the side facing the pile a contact layer, which includes a composite layer of a porous material and/or a sealant. The hollow-body formwork element can remain as a part of the structure and thus can perform a sealing function.

  • Patent number: 8915678
Abstract: A multicomponent composition for filling and/or grouting cracks, flaws, and cavities in structures or earth and stone formations, including: i) water; ii) cement; iii) an aqueous plastic dispersion; and iv) at least one monomer, which can be radically polymerized, or a polyisocyanate. A material is thus obtained as a sealant having both a swelling capacity and expandability.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 18, 2008
Date of Patent: December 23, 2014
    Assignee: Sika Technology AG
Inventors: Nabil Boulkertous, Magnus Kloster, Klaus Peter Meyer
  • Patent number: 8793862
Abstract: A sealant is arranged in a meshlike manner between a composite layer and a barrier layer in a water-tight membrane that includes a barrier layer and a composite layer. In the case of a leak in the barrier layer, the network of sealant between the composite layer and the barrier layer prevents the barrier layer from being affected. As a result, the size of the areas affected by penetrating water is limited. The damage by the penetrating water is thus limited to a smaller area, and the point of damage can thus be more easily localized.

  • Publication number: 20100266348

A material is thus obtained as a sealant, which displays great adjustment capabilities of hardness and reaction time, in addition to its cost-effectiveness. Such a composition unifies positive properties of various materials as a sealant, such as expansion capacity and swelling capacity.
